Yeah i thought i was alone with this awsome!

You listen to Legion, Highwayman? :) Really? Where did you encounter this band? I befriended their singer/guitarist online and he has sent me their latest album via post all the way from Ecuador. I think they sound great and it's such a pity they are not as well known here.

The Marz Volta has a Latin influence?...I can honestly say I've never noticed...or thought about it.

Meaning comes from within.

Me neither, I don't believe that The Marz Volta has latin influence.
what little I heard I liked enough, is a different style, some progressive

this was the best example i could find of a T.M.V. song having what i think is a Latin influence:
L' VIA L' VIAQUEZ off the Frances the Mute c.d.

(hope the song is attached, having enough trouble getting fotos to stick)
:silly:
also, Omar Rodriguez-lopez's solo album sounds very Santana like (to me)*
