Ive recently finished watching Rin: Daughters Of Mnemosyne which was really awesome. Quite a strange plot but I found it really enjoyable.

Have also just gotten a hold of Totoro My Neighbour so am looking forward to watching that (fingers crossed) today :)

Im just wondering if Anime is cheaper in other countries? To buy all of Death Note here I'd be looking at roughly US$117, with most other animes retailing between US$38 to US$76.

lol... got my hopes up then realised UK is Region 2... :S

That is half the price! I cant believe that. We're Region 4; Mexico, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania. Which ultimately makes it harder to import anime. I is sad panda.

Strange.

I would've thought it would've been cheaper due to being closer to other places (I think) geographically and therefore having lower shipping costs (presumably)?

I know that when I import clothes from anywhere in the East, the shipping costs are near half to get things sent to my US auntie's house as opposed to my house in the UK.

Here in Croatia it's almost impossible to even get a hold of anime dvds. The few I have I bought in the UK, but I also find them quite expensive...
