Cleaning Your Alchemy Items
I currently only own two Alchemy Gothic pieces: the Divinity ring and the Desmodus armour ring.
The armour ring is fine as I only wear it on special occasions but my Divinity ring gets lots of wear out of it and i've noticed that the sides of the ring have started to loose their shine. What can I use to polish it up a bit? Are those cloths used for polishing silver any good?
Thanks in advance

But since it's always better to have two: www.ehow.com/how_172281_clean-pewter.html

I checked through the 2 links that Kuroboshi left (thanks!) and it says to avoid silver cleaning products :S
Has anyone ever had any problems with these products?
I will for now try just hot soapy water (as suggested in links)
If anyone else has any suggestions or warnings against certain types of cleaners please do tell,
I want the best results possible for my beautiful new addiction

Hell, with the polishing wheel on a drill you're going to definitely damage the product. You don't want a pewter item to be really shiny, that defeats what pewter is supposed to look like.

You're not. It's likely it will damage the ring slightly.

True. Pewter is meant to be less shiny, and besides, I think Alchemy products have a nicer, gothic look when they're not completely shiny.
I would just stick with hot, soapy water. It's worked well for me since I read this thread (I seem to recall it was suggested earlier) and it's the easiest thing to do. ^.^

The AG buttons can be washed easily in the washing machine on 40°C, cotton program.
I mailed Alchemy with the question and did a run in teh washing machine with my buttons and everything is order, no melted buttons. :silly:
