I agree, this has gotten a bit off topic. But really, how strict do we need to be about that? I, for one, like the way that conversations here naturally evolve from the original posts. And I think \"stopping Christmas cards\" and \"pressing flowers to give as a gift\" sort of fits in with the original money topic, since they are both ways to save money.

That's why I put a questionmark in the sentence... because it could easily be traced back to money, and we're not going far from any subject. We've had this subject for a few pages, and maybe we'll get back to money later, but I don't think we'll get further away. And therefore I don't really think it needs to change :blush:

And I agree with Corpse about drying flowers, my friend does that with all the roses she gets and they really look nice in that form.

Oh wow..I'll look into that. It'd save money if you could re-use flowers given to you and I guess it'd stop flowers from withering and dying as well?

Here's a good money related question . . . why is it that when ever you finally get the slightest bit ahead financially, some expensive emergency comes up? (I'm of course assuming that this doesn't just happen to me.)

Let me say this first: Money is a pain in the fucking ass. We should go back to fucking trading.

That said, keep your money in the damn bank. Withdraw in person. Burn your damn cards, it's too easy to burn a hole in your pocket when you have them. Fuck buying shit online, if it's not in person, you're not meant to have it anyway.

I'm not trying to be an ass. I love the stuff on this site. In the future I might buy something on here, but to be honest, it's possible it won't be any time soon. I've thought about it, but I'd have to buy a plastic and I fucking hate those pieces of shit.

I let my debit card expire on purpose and I've saved myself a shitload of money because of that. I would have mostly spent it on shit that I didn't need.
