Wouldn't make much sense to have Thanksgiving here, with the history behind it etc.

..But sure would be nice to have an extra holiday.

Ahwell. I think we get a day off when the prince gets married next year. Woohoo! The holiday is all we care about, to be honest. :S Most couldn't care less about royal affairs now.

Even if the history behind Thanksgiving isn't accually a good thing to be celebrating, I'm happy to see/hear that it's still celebrated and has not been completely buried by Christmas. Have often referred to Thanksgiving as the lost holiday, since, at least in my area, Christmas is starting to take over a week before Halloween, making Thanksgiving almost completely nonexistant. Cept ofcorse for the turkey sales.
