Society seems to think there's something wrong with people, especially women, who don't want kids. But I know quite a few people my age who are happily child-free.

Kitessa, I do hope you and your husband can come to some sort of understanding on this. Have you considered adoption, or does he want his own biological children?

I can understand not wanting to be pregnant. I hated most of it. Some women love being pregnant. Some find it wonderful that they can feel a life growing in them. The only parts I liked were feeling her moving around, and having truly fabulous hair. After she was born, my hair sort of thinned back to normal, but while pregnant, the hormones made it longer, thicker, stronger, and softer. Strange, but true. I had awesome hair for about a year, until the hormones went back to normal. Oh, well.

Nothing to see here, move along folks.

 Never knew that. Generally regarding pregnancy, I recall people mentioning larger breasts and complaining about bladder problems and cravings.

My mother also noticed that whatever she ate/had cravings for during her pregnancies, I and my brother later developed tastes for. She ate completely different things whilst she was pregnant with each of us and she thinks whatever she ate affected what we later liked and what we didn't like. :P Are we an unusual case or..?

on the Bible= Basic Instructions before leaving earth in my relative opinion, then again it was written by man and changed over time for their desires...I just find it amusing that too many think as well that it is the only word out there...

I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity

I just heard on the news that China is forcing it's people to have a sterilisation if they already have a child, because of the one-child-policy. The people that don't want to have one, get imprisoned... :S
I have a bit mixed feelings and not really a clear opinion on this...

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

Oh, I thought that had been around for years?

The place is bloody crowded though - I can understand why they would resort to it. Luckily, I, my brother and my cousins were all born before they enforced the one-child rule.

Loads of people resort to other means of getting several children anyway - Like having a procedure to give them twins instead of one child.

Can't recall exactly what it was though..IVF? I don't know. Selective gene-picking or something? *Shrug*
