That's true. Lots of girls get the wrong idea when they watch films etc. and expect 'the perfect partner' to come along..It drives me nuts! They refuse to consider people because of their looks or because they don't fit what the girl finds 'ideal', you know? Another example of something unrealistic..The ones who find someone who fits their ideals ('good looks' etc.) don't work out anyway, or they end up on social security in state housing with lots of kids... :pinch:

I can't imagine trying to spend my whole life with someone I didn't really like just because he was pretty. Ick. I would rather marry someone plain who was a decent person, and I got along with. My husband is my best friend, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. Before I ever met him, we used to play trivia at a bar a lot of nights, and I only knew him by his on-screen name (Zippy), but didn't even know which guy in the bar he was! I just knew he was really smart, and won a lot of the games. Eventually we met, and I already knew he wasn't a loser. Lucky for me, I think he is cute on top of it (this is where he usually rolls his eyes at me). How sad. I was going to put a picture of him on here, but all the ones I have on this computer are \"sneak attack\" photos, not really fair to him to post one of him looking surprised, or with a mouth full of food, or half asleep. I will get a good picture of him and put it here soon.

I find that situation familiar as I met my boyfriend online and therefore knew his personality before I knew what he looked like..So he's my best friend as well as my boyfriend and it just makes everything work. ^.^ It was just pure luck that he happened to have features that I adore.

:laugh: Bah. The only way to get pictures of my boyfriend is through 'sneak attacks' as well. Or being in the picture with him..Which I'm not a fan of.

I don't think the government could enforce an age limit of 21+ on alcohol really..They increased the legal age to smoke here, and it hasn't had any effect whatsoever. We have 10 year olds smoking and the legal age is something like 18+..Kids just get their friends to buy them things.

Yes that is why America is so great and have so many problems of this nature, but for Adult stores when i was in the Military (USMC) we could go into strip clubs but not Adult Stores which is very odd as well and just shows how incompetent our law makers and Leaders are....On that note I have only been into a few stores and never really have the desire to so I would not make a good poster on this subject.
