Thurysaz, that is basically what my sister's book is about. If you can't ask for what you want and need, then you can't complain that you aren't getting it!

Nothing to see here, move along folks.

I totally agree Thurysas, but I also believe that it can have something to do with the modern scociety. When school wont even educate the children about the most basic functions, how could they get to know the more complicated?
The society only tells of perfection, of the perfect body and the perfect sex (porn), but they also tell that it's not okey to discuss it. I know many girls whos faces get red as soon as me and a friend of mine get into a deep conversation about different aspects of sex - often in public. She's taught me how to discuss it, as even I where a bit shy in the beginning, but not compared to some friends.

I just whish I could be able to talk about any intimate details with anyone - girl and boy alike. The only one I have that relation with is my friend and my boy. But with them I can have very open discussions, especially with my boy.

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

Here here, I like what everyone is saying. I unfortunately had a family that never talked about it.. I started my \"demon\" cycle at 8 years old. My church even thought I was unpure for being able to be a woman so early in life. My parents were so over protective I didnt \"lose\" it til I was 20. Then I realized why it should be with the right person, but with so much going on in this world and the loss of moral values, most people fall in love after sex. I haven't met a couple yet that have waited to have sex after they have started dating. I was in a long relationship and was to be married, but he cheated. I had a few boyfriends since then and then haven't dated because I was too busy with my Bachelors Degree over the last 4 years. No offense guys on here, men need lots of attention, the ones I've dated in America, they want you to come to their place or go do things...so I took a break because my life comes first. I am not going to put myself on hold for anyone....now that I have my degree and going to get a job, I will start to be social again. Put myself out there, 30 and single.....I never thought my life would be where it is now, but hey we all have those days where everything isn't going quite right. Well I have had a few years like that. So definately, when you decide what you want to do with your bodies and who you want to do anything with is totally up to the person, despite governments, internet, books, parents really are the ones that should discuss things with their children whether they like it or not. Parents job is to teach, what you do think happened in the Alchemist era? The parents were having sex next to their sleeping children in a hut, so different now with privacy and trying not to have our children see it, but it is on tv all the time, sexual commercials, cyalis \"boner\" pills, tampons and pad commercials. I had to try to explain to my 4 year old godson that tampons are for girls because once a month a miracle happens and they can have babies, but then if they don't, they have to put that in them for a week. I tried to explain it, but I have no kids, just 2 cats, so it was very hard. My best friend loved it when her son told her about why mommy has her miracle time.....

Bonjour Sister CorpseQueen,

I quite agree with you and I think this is exactly where the problem lies in our society.
Children are not \"badly educated\" they are not \"educated\" parents resign from their primary function is to help their children become good adults \"goodly educated\"
It is not easy to talk about sex with their offspring but it is the duty of parents to do so.

Mes hommages.
