Sorry StephenG, I can't see anything in that one either. I see lots of little patterns repeated throughout, but I suspect there's more to it. I also don't see any kind of illusion in the black and white ones posted by Envy and Kuroboshi on page 5 of this thread.

I wonder if these \"magic eye\" pictures work differently on-screen than in real life?

:P I don't know if they even count as illusions, but apparently they do.. I find it more difficult with the one I posted. I have to move very far away from my screen to be able to flip between images.

Hmmm... I tried that, and still don't see anything different. Although I do get more of a 3D effect from it, from further away. Oh well, must be just me.

Try barely opening your eyes, that often helps. If you wear glasses, taking them off may help.

The joke is that the worse your eyesight is, well you'll see.
