I've always loved venus fly traps but I've heard that they are very difficult to keep alive . . .

Venus fly traps and other flesh eating plants need a humid and warm climate like in a rain forest. And then you also have to have live flies, worms with which to feed them. These are the main reasons why they are hard to keep. Only for advanced gardeners. :silly:

Yeah, my friend had a fly trap back in Arkansas. It was easy to keep them alive there. South Eastern U.S. is classified as a Humid Subtropical region so they thrived very well. I won't be able to keep one alive very long here in CO though. They're fun to play with too. I used to stick my finger in it's trap and watch it try and eat my finger. lol. The friend that had the plant wants to have some more when he moves to Florida along with some pitcher plants.
But I wonder if I could grow some Dragon plants here in CO....the coolest part about them is that when they mature, you can cut them and they 'bleed' red sap that looks just like human blood.

In other words these plants are way beyond me who can't even seem to keep Irises alive. Good to know . . .

Has anyone here ever smoked cloves? Lately I've been hearing a lot about smoking them in cigarettes. Never heard of it before now.

hahaha You just now heard of them when they've been just recently outlawed in the US! XD
I've tried because they smell very nice, but as I'm not a smoker I didn't enjoy them. I read somewhere that cloves have a somewhat anesthetic effect so clove cigarettes will numb your throat a bit and therefore you'll inhale the smoke more intensively. The problem is that you'll inhale more of the tobacco and thus increasing the probability of all the health hazards caused by tobacco.
