She took a trip one Sunday,
The place where memories are stored,
This trip quite frequently traveled,
A place so many fear,
Her presence fills this place with love.
She ventures here to remember,
Remembering the joys in life,
So many do remember unlike the others,
She is courageous to venture to this sacred place,
Paying her respects,
To never forget!

Staring at the parchment pages
filled with arcane spells and hymns,
I lay down my feathered quill;
halt copying what is kept within.
What is this glyph I do not know,
that alien cypher in blackest ink?
It dares me decipher its meaning,
its unholy truth held deep within.
As I ponder, try to remember
arcane secrets and occult lore,
the symbol seems to shift and move,
impatient to show the secret stored.
I reminisce the Chthonic ruins,
recall with fear the Arab tombs,
memories of Assyrian demons,
lurking deep in Gaia's womb.
As I struggle to bring forth
that obscure shred of knowledge old,
which would aid me in understanding
the meaning that this rune withholds
I stare at it as if to force it
tell the secret that it hides.
And as it tries to trap my soul
I see the hellish fiend inside
Frantically I shake my head;
This is not true and cannot be!
And as I try to flail and flee,
A straitjacket still imprisons me.

Here is this evenings scribble. Ode to Poe and Lovecraft, or sheer theft and plagiarism?

Positive & Negative
Birds singing,
Aching fingers,
Morning dew upon the grass,
Painful knees,
Shining sun,
Fungus in the toes,
Clear blue sky,
Cuts on hands,
Calming music,
Unbrushed teeth,
Fresh coffee,
Coffee stains.
Pack of fags,
Blurry vision,
Children sleeping,
Clogged pores,
Calming numb,
Moles on skin,
Cup is full!
