Melt chocolate chips in a pot, mix in a cup of peanut butter. Let cool just enough so it won't melt marshmellows. mix in bag of mini marshmellows. pour contents into cake pan or casarol dish, spread so it's even, place in refridgerator till firm. We then usually cut pieces as we want them, sometimes ya may want a bigger or smaller piece than usual... (: Can also add chopped nuts if ya want.

I'd call it a typical American item... The same way 10 years ago or so, you couldn't find maple syrup or peanut butter here.
