The Book of Shadows was created by Highwayman
Anyone seen the many cover art versions on The Book of Shadows :unsure:

Yes, I have seen many. I have one...similar to that one but without the words on the front. It's a sort of reddish colour.

In the world there are as many Books Of Shadows as there are witches. A BOS is a kind of journal/diary of a single individual witch and a BOS reflects the individuality of it's owner. A BOS is filled with spells, rituals and other information which go with the craft that the witch practices.
A book filled with spells, rituals etc. which is published ergo not made by the witch herself is a grimoar and thus is not a BOS.

Did i say anything about the inner text? i was referring to the cover art.

You didn't phrase your question well. Any simple, plain notebook can be used for a book of shadows (I even know a person who keeps her bos on the pc) so it doesn't have to be one from the shop which has 'book of shadows' written on it.
I'll post the cover of mine when my sister returns my camera, no use describing it when a picture is much better. :)

Still waiting for my handmade BOS that cost around $200. For now I just juse a leather bound journal from Barnes & Noble that I bought a while ago that I personalized with a wax pentagram stamp on the front cover. Nice that the pages didn't have lines. I hate writing magickal stuff on lined things, it takes away from it's charm for me :S
