The Witch's Harvest was created by cemwerewolf
Through previous posts we have learned that there are those among us who practice spellcraft. As one of that number, I got to wondering . . . Where does everyone get their supplies?
Do you grow your own herbs or have a local supplier? Do you go into the wild to gather components? Is there a website you go to? Inquiring minds always seek more knowledge . . .

I don't really do much spellwork, but I do try to do some type of ritual for the Sabbats. These are mostly thought-based though, so I don't have a lot of supplies.
I do use things that I've found either in my own yard, or at the beach... leaves, rocks, berries, etc. I also use tealight candles, sometimes with a few drops of food colouring if I want to use a specific colour. I've looked for coloured ones in stores, but they're just about impossible to find.

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

For some reason I wanna get a Mandragora now...
I don't do any real witchcraft, but I'd like to learn more about it, and maybe I'll practice some in the future, when I've learnt more about it. I'd grow my own herbs, when I know how and got skill enough to do it.

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

I'm very limited with spellwork as there aren't any specialised shops here and there are just so many ingredients you can buy. I'm not so confidant with gathering them in the wild, don't want to make a mistake as I'm not that familiar with how specific plants look like and the net isn't an option as I always have problems with tax, who knows what they would think if I ordered some herbs etc.
I usually end up not doing a spell or trying to alter it to the means I have at hand.
