Whitby Gothic Weekend was created by Highwayman
Anyone else here go? I went last year and now i think it’s a “must go” if you like gothic music Fri 30th October - 1st November

I've never been but I really want to! It's a bit of a journey but if it coincides with a college holiday I could go! I should be driving by then...
Sorry that was less of a reply, more of a burst of happiness from me.
What kind of music is it? Old-style gothic or metal or psychobilly or a mix?

Mostly Old-style goth but there is a mix and the Death Rock Booms!

Why, tis held in Whitby in the ruins of the Abbey, or so I'm told. And yes... Old-style goth. Are Death Rock Booms a band? I like the deathrock style.

But where's the ruins of Abbey? I don't think they're in Sweden... and if not, I think I'll get trouble getting there. I don't know much about gothic music, but I'd still like to go, if nothing else then to meet new people that share some interests :cheer:
