The manuscript of Ibn Fadlan (eaters of the dead) on his journey to northerners tells us otherwise. Arab talks about a campaign in which the Vikings used a vessel of water for washing at all, but as I said, what other savagery might think or not they are actually

Yes, we've learned a lot thanks to Fadlan.
But like all stories on this people, do not forget the religion of the writer, because it depends on the point of view about it ...

And depending on what is important in religious dogma point of view can change dramatically ...

The Catholic monks have soiled the Vikings in describing as horrible brutes raping and pillaging rigged helmet with horns to make them evil (devil) in the eyes of their contemporaries.
Why did they do that?
Simply because the Vikings were \"non-Christians\" were the only ones who dare come in monasteries steal property from the all powerful church.

Example:
Did you know? In catholicism the North is the birthplace of evil.
Why? It is because the Vikings had from the north.

It was tha arab I was talking about, I think... he wrote that they washed in the same bowl, but never said they did or didn't change water. To him, just using the same bowl could have been awful, no matter how many times they changed the water.

And Thurysas, I'm sorry to dissapoint you but I'm already taken... :cheer:

I am sure that the way they've taken a bath in no way affects the way they were warriors and it was thanks to his skill as warriors, they are celebrated. Thanks

Thurysaz
Yes, that's all and it is really. I might add that the Vikings never purposefully desecrated Catholic symbols and holy places of Catholics (monasteries were only a source of production). Catholics, in turn, drew the Vikings to their faith and forced them to burn their sacred groves and impose their religion.
