Why not use the blank Rune?

Because it is useless because the concept it represents is included in all the other Runes.
And also: 24 is a number \"universal\" but, 25 does not correspond to anything.

@Thurysaz: Aha. That explains quite a bit. Thankyou.

@Verminaard: The branch was actually broken off in a storm and when it fell it was caught by the other branches. It never did touch the ground. I did consult one of the local elder witches about it and she said it would work perfectly. But thankyou anyway, I would like to see another way of making runes. I've always been facinated with different takes on things.

I've got my Runes crafted by carving them in the antlers of a stag.
