the thread of life lies severed on the brink of paradise.. .
Sheep in the big city was created by Zenith
It's not the cartoon, it's my introduction, because I've rcently moved to a bigger city and I'm bewildered and lost most of the time.
My real name is Mihaela. I find it pretty dull and boring and since it is derived from the archangel Michael's name, I prefer going by the name of Zenith. Zenith was the main character in a novel I started writing but when I was about to finish it I discovered that the character resembled me too much so I gave upo writing and got me this fancy nickname!
I'm a student now. The thing I love most is gazing upon beautiful vistas and meditating. (I find beauty even in places where there is hardly any...)... In my spare time I paint and draw, as many of you do, or so I have read (great idea for a topic, paintings/drawings from you!). I make accessories (they not as lovely as those of AG, though )
What more to say about myself? I guess I'm mostly defined by my work and the places that surround me.

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

I love your photos, especially because there is so much nature in it!
I know how difficult it's living in a big city when you're used to something smaller. I had the feeling of being lost for a year or so when I moved because of university; never got lost for real but always had that strange feeling... Now I'm comfortable with my surroundings but still miss nature. More trees, grass, shrubs etc would be so much nicer then concrete and asphalt.

Thank you, Black_Magnolia, I also really miss the sight of trees, of grass and of floewrs, although where I come from the vegetation is kinda scarce, the place is pretty arid...nevertheless, it's nicer than seeing concrete and stone everywhere. I guess I'll get used to this to, I have just begun my first year of university.

Welcome my dear! And I must say I quite love your photos as well. The composition is breathtaking. Is the photographer something of a pro or just a gifted individual? I would very much like to see some of your artwork. Is there a certain style you do or is it whatever comes to you in the moment?

Those who stand in white blessed light might not always be good, those who stand in the inky shadows of darkness might not always be evil.

I know how you feel, I went from a 900 person town to a 6 million person city....I can only hope you do not lose yourself and still remember were you come from....I love the photos as well...So very beautiful and should be submitted to Gothic Beauty!!!...Glad you are her Zenith, (The highest point above the observer's horizon attained by a celestial body) That is one of the meanings of your name. I think it's pretty.

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

I also find beauty in everything. There's always some way to see the beauty, especially if you can see it with more then one pair of eyes.
I've been raised and always lived just outside the most hectic part of the city. Living in a suburb, but still closer then most 'central' parts. Which is a bit sad, as I never get to be close to real nature... sure, we have som green spots, but most close to a highway, so it kinda ruins the feel. Think I need more nature, but how could I live so far from everything now? Always been so close.
