What are your favourite more \"goth friendly\" family films?
Mine are Addams Family, Addams Family Values, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.

Yeah, Adams Family was the first to come to mind for me. I don't really know what movies you would consider 'gothic' though.

I've watched the Addams family for so many times now, and it is a great family film. Other gothic family films? Tim Burton is the name which springs to mind...

I guess Tim Burton but for some reason George Romero comes to mind more often....

Coraline is excellent but I don't know if younger children could appreciate some parts of it...
Oh the aforementioned Addams Family Values is one of the funniest comedies ever, let alone as a gothic/horror/black comedy or whatever.
The Spiderwick Chronicles is a really good family fantasy, it's a bit like a child-friendly horror in parts. I enjoyed (and was slightly scared by) it and I was 17 when I first saw it!
