Yes, they made a LOTR musical. I watched it live in London. They did a really good job with it.

I absolutely loved Repo! I like that it's not only a musical but very operatic in that everything is sung, not just individual numbers seperated by normal dialogue. A former coworker recently got me into Italian opera so this was right up my alley as a modern interpretation. Oddly enough though, I enjoy a lot of the classic musicals like some of the old Rodgers and Hammerstein ones. I grew up watching these with my mom so they have a special place in my heart . . .

I quite liked watching the latest version of 'Chicago'..And I've seen 'Little Shop of Horrors' in a theatre before. It was fun to watch, but the fake, overexaggerated American accents really ruined it for me.
