Who's you favourite guitarist?
Or who's you favourite player of any instrument in general?

I have way too many guitarists that i look up to. My favourite guitarist is either billie joe armstrong or joe strummer.
Also, my favourite bass player is argyle goolsby.

Most of the bands I listen to are guitar based, so it's hard to pick a favourite. A few that spring to mind though... Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society), Dimebag (Pantera, Damageplan), Slash (Guns n Roses).

Bass players... Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) and Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath). My favourite drummer is probably Mikkey Dee (King Diamond, Motorhead).

As a drummer I can't really appreciate good guitar playing like some people. But my favourite guitar solo in in the entire world is the finale to Alive by Pearl Jam; performed by Mike McCready.

Matt Bellamy from Muse :lol: I'm joking of course, he's not my favourite guitarist, but I sure like the way he plays it. I don't know, I guess Gian Pyres or Paul Allender.

I would have to say Randy Rhoads. Besides the Guitar he could play several other instruments. He was also planning to leave Metal to train in classical guitar.
I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity

I don't know about a favorite guitarist, there are so many, but bass players, probably Les Claypool of Primus. Jaw dropping.

Oh, and freakishly tall. And he thought it was funny that he had to sign my Metallica t-shirt.
