morning.....just woke up , but i'll keep my promise.
the necronomicon....

the legend states that the one's that made mankind were The Elders ( cthulhu , yog-sothoth and so on ). they have taught man to read the signs of the sky , to make weapons , to hunt , to survive basically , but most of all they have taught man magic and how to use it properly . but the elders were vengeful gods and they severly punished anyone who disobeyed them . and one day man, after profiting from the elders wisdom , rose against them , and there was a great battle fought on earth. man knew how to gain victory , so they used everything they had in order to banish the elders. they wanted to kill them, but the elders were ultimately too strong , so mankind only managed to send them deep in space , trapping them into the void , where time stands still and chaos reigns supreme. but one of them , the most powerful elder , Chthulhu , couldn't be sent away . so the legend goes on to state that mighty chthulhu sleeps in the city of R'lyeh hidden in the deeps dark waters of the ocean. after they have banished the elders, man fell into a primitive state , and had to learn how to survive all over again .


some say that the elders were some sort of extraterrestrial beings ( see pic), and others say that they are mere fiction. so this is the short of it .

wow. i have never heard that legend before. i've heard of the necronomicon but never actually knew it's origin. it's really fascinating. thank you for taking the time to tell the legend.
