Cradle of Filth

What do you think about Cradle of Filth?
Are they that good?
In the last years they seem to make some different albums than the older ones..
What do you think about the band?

Well, as a matter of fact I was thinking of starting a similar topic...
I'm a die-hard fan! I love Cradle Of Flth, and what I like the most is the diversity in their music. My head aches when I hear so-called fans ditching the band because they have begun to \"sound different\"...well, from my point of view, each and every album, from the Principle Of Evil Made Flesh to Godspeed on Devil's Thunder, has a unique sound and a unique atmosphere to it, you can't expect COF to make albums just like Dusk and her Embrace and Cruelty and the Beast just because they were thought to be better by almost all of their fans.
My personal favourite is Midian.

I'm undecided about Cradle. I'm not really into much extreme metal but I actually bought the CD of Nymphetamine because I loved all the songs I'd heard of it and it is a very good album. But I hear it is their most commercial so I don't know if I'd like some of their harder stuff. I've heard a couple of songs off Duck and Her Embrace and they were pretty decent but not so much what I've heard of Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder (although what a title!).

yes they are good, the bad thing is that now make more commercial music
