Motorhead, the loudest blues band on earth! and AC/DC, and Machine Head (whose drummer kicks ass),

Nothing to see here, move along folks.

For me Hard Rock means a lot..
Bands like Scorpions, Ac Dc, Van Halen, Hardline, Def Leppard, Queen, Alice Cooper, Guns N Roses, Ratt or D.A.D. makes Hard Rock live forever..
Nowadays there is no Hard Rock like 20 years ago..
But even today people listen to musics with 20, 30 years of age..
Music that will be forever in our hearts..

I think the aforementioned Queens of the Stone Age embody hard rock because they sound modern and are influenced by grunge and neo-psychedelia but also because they have a lot of the sound of older hard rock bands like Iron Butterfly. Other hard rock bands around now I would say are Airbourne (who are admittedly AC/DC wannabees), maybe Wolfmother, definitely Pearl Jam, if you can call them new.
