Only 5?

In no particular order...

Nobuo Uematsu (I love the stuff he has composed for the Final Fantasy series, by extension this would involve The Black Mages)
Avenged Sevenfold
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Chimaira

A pity you only say 5 though, I've had to leave out other notable artists.

In no particular order, I would probably listen to these 5 the most *at the moment*..

Machine Head, Chimaira, Avenged Sevenfold, Shostakovitch, Metallica.
