I haven't seen it yet, but I'd like to, once the crowds have thinned out a bit. I've seen the earlier movies on TV, but the only one I saw at the theatre was Part 1, so I want to see Part 2 at the theatre as well.
I think my husband was quite bored during the first one, as he hasn't read the books and didn't know the backstory. But there should be enough action and fight scenes in the second one to keep him entertained.
Don't worry, the majority of the movie is packed with fight scenes. I'd say this is the most action filled Potter movie of them all.
Curiously enough, the crowd here has considerably smaller then for the 6th movie, which I found a bit weird. Maybe more people have decided to wait till they watch it to avoid the crowds. :silly:

And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

Though I will say that there was no explaination as to why Harry didn't die other than the near-death experience being in his head. I'm pretty sure that it was something to do with Voldemort having his blood in the book.

Just saw it today with some friends in 3D, overall, I enjoyed it but I feel like they could have done more with the 3D.
Warning: Spoiler!I was wrong about Neville playing a reduced role, he plays the exact role he did in the book which was pleasing, though I was a little disappointed that Grawp wasn't in it (Wasn't introduced in an earlier movie, I think) so there was no fight between giants. Though I honestly feel the fight between Voldemort and Harry was drawn out too long, would have preferred it to have been like it happened in the book but it can't be helped.

Ah, I didn't watch the movie in 3D, so in that respect I don't know what they did. I generally don't like 3D, so I don't even care. :woohoo:
Harry's survival doesn't have anything to do with the fact that Voldemort resurrected his body with the help of Harry's blood. In fact the essence of the \"Harry-not-dying-problem\" is that Harry is the true master of the Elder wand and Voldemort had unintentionally made Harry a horcrux on the day he murdered Harry's parents. Therefore firstly the wand didn't really want to kill it's true master (hey, it's not a regular wand but one of the Deathly Hollows) so it killed the part which wasn't Harry, ergo the piece of Voldemort's soul which was fused to Harry... The rest is magic. :woohoo:
This isn't literally explained in the books, so neither did it had to be explained in the movie, at least in my opinion. I think they mentined everything in the movie (like it was in the book) so that you have to work your brain to figure it out and still there is some mystery left.

Really though, the 3D was a hinderance, 3 of us, myself included, require glasses. We all had the same complaint that it appeared a little blurred at times, I thought at first that my vision had worsened slightly but it might be more to do with the 3D itself.
\"'Precisely!' said Dumbledore. 'He took your blood and rebuilt his living body with it! Your blood is in his veins, Harry. Lily's protection inside both of you! He tethered you to life while he lives!'\"
Chapter 35 (King's Cross) Page number 568.
If I remember rightly, Grawp was around 16 feet tall whilst the average giant is around 20-25 feet.
