I've never heard of this... I'm guessing it's a European show though. Is it anything like that ghastly American Idol nonsense?

It's basically an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. Countries pick their representatives and then they vote for the best song of the competition but they can't vote for themselves just for the other countries.

I heard about that too, and looked it up on youtube. It turns out she was part of the show for Germany's song, but she was pretty much ignored, they didn't give her an important role

Has anyone watched the contest? Yesterday were the finals and Germany won! (I heard their song and it isn't bad at all, but they must have done it well enough to get to first place because they are usually somewhere among the last on the list.)
I've heard some of the songs over radio, but didn't watch the tv broadcast and didn't listen to the whole contest because I went to bed early...
I was amazed to hear from the commentator that supposedly near to a billion people were watching the contest! :ohmy:

*Facepalm* Whenever Eurovision's on, the UK is reminded that yes, no one in Europe likes us.

I think last year we were second to last? This year? Lo and behold! We came last!

When I was little, the UK won aaaall the time, haha, and now? Whoo..Hatred all around.

I did love it last year when Dita made a show though. :( So envious of her body.
