Shutter Island

I wanna see it, but my friends are either busy with studying or girlfriends (especially the one who used to take me to the movies, and even pay for me... I miss him...) and my boy hates scary things... maybe I can go see it myself, when and if I get gold enough... still have to figure out my income...

It seems to be real nice, better then the usuall scary stuff, and much more psycotic, which is of my taste. I don't like it scary, I like it weird and maybe/maybe not real. A reason to love The Prestige...

i've not yet see this movie.

I do think you'd like it, based on that comment. It's not scary at all, but it did make me jump a couple of times.

I just watched it the other day. Must admit...it had me questioning my sanity. Of course, the previews were misleading in my area. They made it seem like it was a ghost movie. I gave it 9 out of 10.

Apparently the book is a lot clearer about the ending than the movie - but other things Ive read said that Scorsese shot it the way he did to add doubt and make it less clear cut.

I thought it was a really awesome ending - the whole yes or no factor (sorry trying to be vague here so I dont give it away - blood hard lol ) of doubt was done really well. But apparently it is what it is which I thought a little unfortunate. Still - was completely awesome although purposefully predictable.

(I also loved Alice in Wonderland but thought Clash of the Titans took itself too seriously - still good but they should have made it more campy. I cant wait to see Inception - that looks AWESOME.)
