The next possible place that you may have seen him that comes to mind is the Lord of the Rings. He played Elrond . . .

I've read Lord of the Rings, but I haven't watched any of the movies.

Okay, this is overdue...
When I first saw the trailer for The Wolfman, it looked like a good film, and since usually trailers have been a good indication for me in the past, I thought I'd see this.
Running at around 1 hour 40 minutes, it felt rushed, bad pacing, worst of all was the romance between Lawrence and Gwen, I mean, she's his brother's fiancee, yet they fall in love that quickly? A big mistake there.
Next, over how many days/years does this film take place? What happens in between the full moons? That would have helped to develop the story more and certainly have made it a better film.
Overall, I'd have said this film would have benefited from being around 30 mins to 1 hour longer.
