I like this one, from the french author Bernard Werber, in his \"Encyclopédie du savoir relatif et absolu\" :

\"Aime tes ennemis. C'est le meilleur moyen de leur porter sur les nerfs.\"

Translation: \"Love your enemies. It's the best way to get on their nerves.\"

Oscar Wilde said something like this:)
He said: \"Always forgive your enemies - nothing annoys them so much.\"

But my favorite quote is \"I am not young enough to know everything.\" (Oscar Wilde)

some very good quotes here:laugh:

i heard another good one in the song Dalai lama - Rammstein: \"weiter, weiter ins Verderben, wir müssen leben bis wir sterben\"
a rough (and litteral)translation: further further in damnation, we have to live till we die.

Sounds like some good logic... B)

Not sure if it's a quote, but got a poem I'm wondering if I'm gonna do a tattoo of... love the story in it, and it fits so good with me, and my dreams. Found it in a movie to begin with, and it's the last two rows that caught me.

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
- William Butler Yeats

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

another favorite quote of mine is from the movie \"the crow\".

\"little things used to mean so much to shelly, at first i used to think they were kind of trivial. believe me, nothing is trivial.\"

i love that quote because there is so much truth to it. we never realize just how much little things can mean to us until we lose them. whether it's the little things a loved one does for you or spoken words from a friend or family member. we just never actually realize all the things we take for granted until we have already lost them. it's a sad thought really.

Those are the words of someone who does not know true despair....If you do not know it, I will teach it to you...

nitimur in vetitum semper cupimusque negata
translated: we always seek the forbidden and desire what us is denied
maybe incorrect but i had to translate it 2 timesB)
