I know this is a bizarre thought, but how many of you actually try and stay healthy? I think the last time I had a cold was Christmas last year and lasted 4 days...ummm I find eating holistic or organic food seems to be better for my spirt as well as my health...you find that at all in your lives?

I do try to stay healthy but seem to be failing miserably. My main problem though is the insane amout of stress I'm dealing with right now. Stress lowers the effectiveness of your immune system and, thus, I catch any bug that looks my way . . .

I'm not so careful about my health, and I know it is a bad thing. I haven't caught any cold this year, but when I was 16 I was sick for about 8 times during the autumn, each time with fever and coughs. I had to have shots. Yuck! Now I'm trying to manage my gastritis, but I cannot keep a diet or refrain from smoking or drinking coffee and fizzy drinks. Not to mention alcohol. So I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to my own health. I do go to the doctor whenever something is wrong and I always take prescribed drugs if I know they will help me. I also use natural solutions, and sometimes they work even better. I cured a cold last year only with hot anise tea. And its flavour was yummy, almost like that of absinthe!

the thread of life lies severed on the brink of paradise.. .

I rarely get sick. Pretty much never get sick, but if I jump out in a snowstorm wearing a bathsuit I will be a bit sick afterwards... Like when going home a very windy and cold day, with jacket open and no scarf. Think that sickness is pretty much over now tho.

And really, I enjoy fruits more then candy - I can eat how much I want and not feel sick. I like juice more then soda or alike, and actually don't drink soda, any kind, anymore. And don't miss it a bit.
But sure, I eat candy and fastfood at times, tho McDonalds tend to make me sick, especially if eating a whole meal.

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

I try to take good care of myself... I work out fairly consistently, although I've been slacking a bit lately. I tend to stick to my weights/yoga routine better in the winter, since I'm home more and there's not as much to do.

I've been a vegetarian for a couple of years now. I try to eat well, but it's always a struggle. Sometimes I'd rather just not bother, than have to go to the effort of making something. I love chocolate, but I'm not a big fan of junk-food otherwise. I do take vitamins every day, since I'm probably not getting all I need from my diet.
