Transylvania has anyone been there? I wonder if its the goth capital of the world.

i haven't been there yet but i would like to plan a trip sometime in the future to pay a visit there.

I'd love to go there as well. I think it's probably riddled with kitschy, tourist-trap junk. But if you did a bit of research ahead of time, I'm sure there would be lots of interesting, historical sights to see. It would just take some digging to get past the other stuff.

It isn't the goth capital of the world and it can't be, because Transylvania covers 16 counties which include nearly 99,837 km² of central and northwest Romania.

It's an interesting place, sure. Had a friend who was thrilled by the thought that her boy was partaly from there... well, I woulnd't mind if my boy where from Transylvania :blush:
