Valentine's Day isn't a big deal for me. I usually end up working it but this year I'm only working until 3 pm instead of doing the night shift with all its craziness in the restaurant. My parents have invited us over for supper since it's a holiday the next day and after we get home I'll probably be going straight to bed since I have to be up at 5 am for work the next morning. Just another day with the potential for excessive amounts of chocolate added in! :laugh:

:P It's not actually a big thing for me. Many I know look down upon it because they believe people shouldn't need a day to prompt them to show their affections, along with the whole commercialised aspect.

Think I'm going out to dinner with my boyfriend on the 14th..But it's nothing too special, seeing as we'll be going out to eat all week amongst other activities.

I do not like valentine day!

I think this is just a comercial festival. I do not need a special day to give gifts to My Wife or to prove that I love.

I don't need a special day to recognize my husband, but it is a nice thing, anyway. I don't have anything against it, but I am not crazy in insisting on it being celebrated, or on receiving a gift. I always tell my husband to get me nothing, but he always gets me something.
