Miracle in Haiti was created by Thurysaz
Bonsoir sisters & brothers members of TOOA,
As you've probably seen on television there was a tragedy in Haiti. Hundreds of dead and ... Miracles!
How it named differently?
Today we have yet emerged from the rubble a young girl of sixteen, who spent 15 days without food or water trapped in a pile of concrete?
Your opinion.
Mes hommages.

Wow. I remember hearing a few days ago they found a boy who had been buried 10 days and looked awful. Lost so much weight, but survived. I think that is amazing. The will to live can be very powerful.

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

I can't swim. I can't drive, either. I was going to learn to drive but then I thought, well, what if I crash into a lake?

Indeed it is a miracle, she is one brave and stubborn girl, wouldn't give up even to the death itself.

Depending on the definition, I don't know whether I would call it a 'miracle' as I don't believe in higher deity(s)..But I would happily agree that it's an incredible feat of human willpower.
A surprising amount are still being found alive under rubble..I would presume it's due to the nature of the material the buildings are made of (with it being known that Haiti was quite a poor country) or something similar to that, as most Haitian buildings seem to have been wiped out whereas buildings of neighbouring countries still stand, but I can't say that for certain. It's just a thought.
