I know that certains of our sisters and brothers of TOOA are American, I guess they must think something different on this subject than I am European.

Because it is a beautiful and proud people that has values and knows the meaning of the word respect.

I'm actually trying to set up connections with the Cherokee to get them to allow me a year on a reservation with them to get a first hand experience of their culture and traditions.

I do respect them as well and was facinated with their culture. While living in ohio we would take trips during the winter to Shawnee State Park:

www.scarrittbennett.org/ The nurses in traing from the Cherokee Reservation in North Carolina came to train there every several months for 2 weeks and was such a joy meeting them. Then well hell we have the Great Smokey mtns in East Tennessee as well.

My husband, and therefore my daughter, are part Native American, Cherokee and Mohawk tribes. But they are only like 1/8.

Since were talking about the subject! I'm Since on my mother's side we have Irish blood, on my father's side we are half Mic-Mac, alf French and so on. Only few of us are pure Native Blood. What happen, that's another story.
