P994 - Yggdrsil - Viking World Tree
A powerful amulet that is a source of all life and knowledge. Yggdrasil meaning "Odin's Gallows," a reference to Odin's self-sacrifice by hanging himself from the tree for nine days to gain knowledge of the runes. The mighty Ash tree whose trunk rises through the centre of the Norse cosmos, anchors the nine realms which include Asgard, Midgard and Hel. When the tree trembles, it signals the arrival of Ragnarok and the destruction of the universe.
