P1001 - Elizabethan
Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester's original design for the ornate tracery arches above the north entrance to the 16th century Kenilworth Castle, for his great secret love, Elizabeth Rex, alas, never used. In this form it is inverted to reflect Dudley's later fall from grace.
