Alchemus Maximus is about the only statue I have that had enough height & a skull I could tie the mask around...

so no, BLACK MAGNOLIA,'tis NOT an Alchemy item; I was just trying to show off the mask .
If I read the the label inside correctly , it came from Venice; birthplace of the carnival the mask is often worn to--their version of Mardi Gras... I think (or assume) most places have a mardi gras/carnival type celebration before ASH WEDNESDAY...

It was stage the mask on Maximus or the Terminator endoskull.

planning to buy a blank mannequin head to keep the mask on...

oh, ok! xD I missed the fact that it was a mask and from the other people's comments it seemed they assumed Alchemy too. :silly: I noticed the Alchemus Maximus bits, but thought Alchemy might have done or licensed a similar statute with the Plague Doctor - I don't follow all their licensed stuff, especially not the statutes/figurines.

I've been to Venice and we here in Croatia also celebrate carnival (we don't do Mardi Gras), so I'm familiar with the masks and traditions.

It is hard to see some of them, but the reason for the largest pic is the reason I bought it. It's the astrological signs.

In total, I have purchased 4 of these pewter roses in my life (that's roughly 1 rose every decade)
2 taken by ex-girlfriends,and one broke on me...

only bought it because it lookd like a knock-off of the ALCHEMIST design

Oh that rose is gorgeous! The egg...looks a little odd to me. Kinda cool, but there's something not quite right with it.

The skull egg is cool, although not my cup of tea. It does remind me of the movie Coneheads. haha :silly:
