Length-ways, they fit fine. It's just my smallest toe gets squished in due to the shape of the boot (pointy tip), which makes walking pretty painful because my feet are in an abnormal position. I don't know if that fixes itself by breaking the shoe in or not..

Glad you like them too. ^.^ They're so adorable, I can't stop staring at them/wearing them around the house. They're comfy too..Which is weird, because with the TUK brand, I've always been a size 5..And yet those ankle boots are uncomfortable.. TUK is usually true to size..

Hmm... I'd say you need a bigger size. I don't think you can break them in so much that your little toe isn't squished like that. Usually a shoemaker can make a shoe half a size bigger by stretching it. Maybe it is worth going to one and asking him for an opinion. You tell/show him the problem and see if he can do something. If he says that he can't help then exchange them. You just have to have in mind that you won't be able to return them after the shoemaker has a go with them...

Okay. ^.^ Thanks for the advice! Breaking shoes in has never really been a problem for me before..I'm a 4.5 size and usually end up buying a size 5, so everything's pretty comfy. Usually.

You're welcome! :) I'm a EUR 44.5 (thanks to my cursed genes ) and usually end up buying a 45 so I know how it is with those half sizes. Boots are fine in half a size bigger, but those open sandals and similar shoe types are a bit too big and my foot likes to slide out, while a 44 is just to tight... :(

Does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of Emily the Strange Bat trainers? I had a pair a few years ago and have not been able to find any since. :(

Oh, I had the same problem with Emily the Strange flats that I loved - I just kept checking eBay and eventually came across an end of line pair. Have you tried that?
