i don't think i ever saw hatchet but i may have to watch it. yeah the effects always look awesome. lol, the slashy parts are the best parts of the movies! the messier the better!:P

If you like messy parts in slasher flicks. You'll love Hatchet. ;)

Sweeny Todd was one of the best films ive seen lately

i agree, sweeny todd was a very good movie. i really liked the music in it as well although i wish it had a little more variety. other than that though i very much enjoyed the movie.

I don't really have a favourite movie really, I love a lot of movies a lot though.
Anything by Tim Burton tends to be amazing though.
