Hey everyone just wondering if there's any other sci-fi fans out there, I'm a big fan of sci-fi movies and wondering if anyone has any recomendations?

Moon
Star Trek
Aliens

STAR WARS (the whole series), Planet of the Apes, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Terminator, Twelve Monkeys, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Blade Runner, Metropolis, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Solaris, Alien, RoboCop, Jurassic Park, The Fifth Element, Back to the Future, The Invisible Man, Godzilla, Mad Max 2, Dune, Flash Gordon, Stargate, etc.

good stuff there I love all the star wars films, 2001, terminator, twelve monkeys, jurassic park, the fifth element and back to the future.
I forgot the mention \"The Island\" in my previos post too - awesome film :)

Well, considering ones that haven't been mentioned...

District 9, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, Red Dwarf, Firefly (and Serenity) and Doctor Who. That's all I can think of at the moment.

It probably wouldn't be as good if you had to watch it now, but I loved Event Horizon when that just came out.
Also District 9 is an excellent movie! And being from South Africa I understand the Afrikaans they speak :)
