ha! If anyone spoke too soon then it was definitely me. I think I may have jinxed this whole business when I commented to the admin how hyper happy I was seeing the site offline for maintenance... :woohoo:

It's almost as bad as the 404 for me. :S Bloody annoying. And I had such high hopes that things will run smoother after maintenance; I even feel the site is extremely slow loading...

You're not alone there, Magnolia, it does feel like the forum is loading slower, though it could just be bad luck for the both of us.

Encountered both the errors mentioned too.

I think we all had hopes that after the forum was offline for maintenance that it'd run a lot better. Just seems odd to get errors a day after it's done.

And for some reason the RSS feed doesn't work either.... or is it just me??...

The RSS feed for the forum works for me.

Could be you. Or do you mean the one for the main site?

It works for me. Both the forum and and the main site one.

I hope those errors were just a one day thing and the site isn't going to make more problems...
Otherwise the admin will hear me whining some more.

That advert for the erm..Website job has been around for a long while. I find it a bit strange seeing as how people are begging for jobs right now over here - It makes me wonder what kind of advertisement methods have been used so far?

I'm wondering whether Alchemy's tried advertising in the local paper? I remember reading something about jobfinding and apparently papers are still one of the best methods.

I'm just surprised a job like that's been open for so long. I know tons have gone into graphic design etc. in the younger generations now, and even if they don't read the papers, their parents or elder generation sure will.
