Here's the mic that Giger made:

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

It is really ridiculous!

I myself am a fan of HR Giger and I think these two microphone stands are really very, very different. In fact, their only common point is to be metal ...

Mes hommages.

Nobody said anything about the Alchemy mic being a copy of Giger.
I just said I like the Giger mic more (so it's my personal opinion) and that, in fact, the two mics can't be compared because Giger is Giger...

I've never seen a Mic stand like this one before. its huge and looks like it would hurt if you ran into it in the dark or it fell on you

That mic has so much presence, I just love it. I also really hope that the lead singer doesn't get caught up in the energy of a gig and grab it where ever without looking where he puts his hands :)

black_magnolia - thanks for the pic. They're quite different from each other, but both very cool in their own way.

Kitessa76 - I'm sure he wouldn't do that more than once!

:P Thanks for the picture. Both are amazing works of art!

Necie has a point though - Giger's mic looks a lot more friendly should one run into it in the dark. :woohoo:
