Five Finger Death Punch Mic-Stand by Alchemy

I just copy/pasted the article here so you don't have to look for it on the home page. What are your thoughts on it?
I think the one H.R. Giger made for Korn is ten times better, but that's me and we can't really compare the two. Giger is Giger. :silly:

Their extensive gothic insight and sensibilities was a perfect match for the metal music scene. Five craftsman working over 120 hours collaborated on the piece, and the final result is pure beauty.

Then! If every time someone makes a microphone stand in metal is said to copy HR Giger! ...

It is really ridiculous!

I myself am a fan of HR Giger and I think these two microphone stands are really very, very different. In fact, their only common point is to be metal ...

I love the one that KORN has it is a work of art, but you are right giger is giger and this here is simply a great metal monster, so cute

Do you have any pics of the one Giger made? I've never seen it, so I can't really compare.

I think the Alchemy one is pretty cool though. It was on the House of Hair newsletter a couple of weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it there.
