To me religion is belief in a higher power than what I am. What name you give to it is all a personal thing.
After all we all individuals in the journey called life.
If you believe in what ever you believe in is fine with me, to each his own.
As long and it harms none and gives you strength to muddle though life...I say go for it.

Rember life to short to stress...relax and it will sort out in the end.

Am I Christian, no. Do I believe in the Creator and Christ, yes. Where I worship we gather in a cinema since being non denominational and believe that the purpose is to gather by belief and not structured in a typical building. We are never judging and open to all faiths be it Pagan, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Atheist, Agnostic. When unable to attend you can always go online:

I was baptised a catholic when I was a youngling, since I went to a catholic school, but when I got older, I became realistic and am now an atheist.

I am a Christian, and I am seriously contemplating joining the Roman Catholic Church.
I do not see these beliefs as mutually incompatible with gothic interests.
