I totally lucked into the pocketwatch. Franklin mint had opened a store in a mall near me, and (big surprise) they were going out of business. Just walking by the window,when my radar picked up the presence of a skull...

Since it was on clearance, I got it for like $150 or somewhere around there (I think original retail was like over $250?,don't really remember)

so it was just right place,right time for me....

Isn't it amazing what deals you find when you're not even really looking? I've nabbed quite a few things in similar circumstances, over the years. And yet, if I go shopping specifically for a certain thing, I seem to be very unlikely to find it.
