In natural roses, I prefer red with dark green foliage, but in imitations, I like either red blooms with black foliage or black blooms with green foliage.
Last Valentine's Day my boyfriend bought me this red leather rose . We couldn't find a stockist for the Alchemy Gothic roses at the time, but I like the barbed wire on the one he got for me :3

Wow, that's a combination I haven't seen so far. Somehow the barbed wire is too much for my taste, but the leather roses by themselves look very good, nothing compared to the cheap plastic ones.

And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,

And eternity in an hour.

Do you mean that you prefer cheap plastic ones? If so; Nyah :(
The Alchemy ones are quite pretty though..

Hehe, I'm at a stage where I love all this barbed wire-y :P
My third anniversary is coming up in 6 months, so I think he may get me a bunch.
(1-paper, 2-cotton, 3-leather, right?)
NB. We're not married, it's just how long we've been together. :silly:

Hell, NO! I prefer the real ones. But those leather ergo artificial look better then the plastic ones, just made a comparison that even between the artificial roses you have a difference in quality and that some look better then others. I meant that the leather ones look better then the plastic (usually very cheap) ones. I think I've never seen a nice good looking and good quality plastic rose. :silly:

Yeah, I prefer cheap and plastic. I've got a few placed so they look like they are growing out of my wall. Never wilting is fine with me. Of course, my ex used to hang her live roses upside-down and spray them with a clear adhesive. It would coat the roses and keep them in the same state for many, many months, even years.

Meaning comes from within.
