the thoughts you can't live without

Books. At least good fantasy, but rather sci-fi nowdays. I love books... but I'll never let anyone else read them! They'll destroy them, or worse - fold the top of the pages! How could anyone do such a thing to a good book...
But that's really part of a greater collektion. I collect stories, all kinds of them. Real, myth, legend, fiction... if it's a good story (or a good idea, or could become a good idea, or could inspire to a good idea) then I'll be interested in it. Never read a book halfway through, never see half of a movie... Even if it sucks, excuse the language, I'll watch it, see/read the beginning, the story and the end. In time. Can't go around with just half the story, can I?

I collect CDs as well. Sometimes I'll download something, just to see if I like it. Then if I do, I go and buy the CD. I like to sit down with the liner notes and read the lyrics as I listen to it the first time.
I also collect candle holders, and any kind of weird household decor objects.

I collect slasher films/DVD's, living dead dolls and decoration skulls. And of course some comic books which I love, like: Hack/Slash.

Wow it sounds like there's some great collections out tthere!
For my part I collect dvds (Around 250 at last count), books (nearing 300 with about 50 antique or rare volumes), dragons (around 150) and mice (a large infestation). There's also the massive stuffed animal collection. What can I say? I'm a kid trapped in a grown up's body. My study looks like a kid's room.
