I started playing around with makeup when I was about 11 or so, and probably started wearing it all the time around age 13. I borrowed from people at school, which was my only option since I don't ever remember seeing my mom wearing makeup. I'd never borrow or lend makeup now, but didn't know any better at the time.

It depends where I'm going though... if I'm just running errands then I wouldn't bother. But if we're going out somewhere nice, then it's full makeup. Foundation, powder, eye liner and shadow, mascara, lip liner and lipstick. I never wear blush though... my cheeks were very red when I was little, and I hated it, so I like my face to be as pale as possible, in contrast to my eyes and lips.

I have really big lips in proportion to the rest of my face (in my opinion) so I stray away from lipstick..I have huge eyes too, so it's minimal eyeliner. I'm like an alien. :(

My mother never really used make-up..I have no idea where I picked it up from. If anything, she's started to use more make-up because I've been more adventurous with what I use - Although she has little experience too. :woohoo: It's quite funny in photos - When my mother puts on eyeshadow, it makes her look angry, so my brother, father and I always point and shout: ANGRY EYES! Whenever we see her in recent photos and wearing eyeshadow.

Teehee..

Haven't really mastered mascara yet. I poke myself too often in the eye to bother learning the art of applying it.

Sometimes, I really wish I ended up with a sister.

I find applying mascara easier then eyeliner. I never poked myself in the eye! :silly:
My grandma did my hair when she was still alive, I wouldn't let my mom (or my sister for that count) near my hair because I would probably lose half of my scalp. lol

Argh..Other way around for me. My mother was always best with hair. My grandmother decided to grab me and wash my hair herself once. She decided that 'I didn't wash it clean enough' and did the job herself. It was painful. She tore out so much of my hair.

AUCH!!! AUCH!!! AUCH!!! :S
I'd recommend seeing a doc, but if that isn't really an option, try washing yourself with chamomile tea. Chamomile has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic and sedative properties, so it should help. If after a couple of days it doesn't get better you should really think about seeing a doctor. Also, no sex till it's all healed up!
Don't know how the custom is in the UK, but here you can call your doc and ask for advice without going to the practice for a check-up, so maybe you could do that, just to be on the safe side.
