depressed ...

What do you do when you're depressed?

MOD EDIT: Just to be clear with this topic, it's not one about when you are really in a depression, as that can't be cured in a day with food, some hobby etc. This thread is about pick-me-ups, things you do when you feel down, sad etc. and need something that will cheer you up.

Well, I used to stick on my music full-blast, but I did that so often that I went slightly deaf and I've since had to stop the habit.

Sometimes I just try and sleep the day away, in an attempt to get away from the feeling for a while. It generally doesn't work as I have nightmares continuously. Lately I've been expressing myself in more artistic forms - I end up writing strange poetry when I'm depressed, or drawing unusual scenes, composing strange music..

When I am feeling depressed, I listen to very dark music, the blacker the better, because somehow, strangely, this always cheers me.

Usually when I'm depressed I just crawl into a corner and brood for awhile. Unfortunately this doesn't help at all so I've really got ot find something else to try . . .
